Lynden International, a full-service freight forwarding company, has hired Paul Polkinghorn as Director of Business Performance. Polkinghorn will develop and analyze Lynden’s business intelligence to provide strategic direction to the company and management team.

He will use his extensive industry experience to examine Lynden’s capabilities and operations and suggest new business opportunities and improvements,” explains Randy Jackson, Lynden International Vice President. “These efforts will help us serve our customers, improve our competitive advantage and provide long-term stability for the company.”

Polkinghorn has held leadership positions in logistics management and third party logistics for more than 20 years. Before joining Lynden, he was Logistics Analysis Manager for Starbucks Corporate Supply Chain Operations and Business Analysis Manager for Global Transportation. Polkinghorn earned a master’s of business administration from Portland State University and a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from the University of Washington. He is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
