Logwin Assumes Responsibility For Bench’s Webshop Logistics

Americana International Ltd., the exclusive distribution partner for the Bench fashion label, and the logistics service provider Logwin have further intensified their collaboration. Logwin now also processes incoming orders to the Bench webshop and manages a call centre for webshop users. The website went live for private customers in Germany in March, and the webshop has been available for customers in 22 European countries since July. Americana and Logwin have been collaborating since 2009. Logwin already provides warehousing, various value added services and the distribution of fashion products to wholesalers and retailers for Bench.
Customers from almost all European countries can order Bench jackets, trousers, T-shirts or fashion accessories from bench-clothing.com. Orders are received direct at Logwin’s location in Nuremberg, where the logistics specialist operates Bench’s European central warehouse. Logwin employees pick the fashion articles and pack them in protective bags or flat boxes. An external service provider is responsible for deliveries to private customers. Orders that reach Logwin by 2 p.m. are shipped the same day. “The first few months have already shown that we can expect significant, constantly growing demand in Bench’s webshop,” says Stephan Krajewski, Manager Sales and Key Account Management at Logwin. As with the website for German customers, the European webshop is also seeing an increasing number of orders. Logwin currently processes a total of around 400 online orders each week.
