Choice Logistics, the global specialist in outsourced mission-critical service parts logistics services, announces that three of its clients have added new SSLs (strategic stocking locations) from Choice Logistics’ global network. All of the clients – Akibia, CTDI, and Network Dynamics, Inc. (NDI) – provide same day and next day support to their high-tech equipment customers. Choice provides the needed logistics infrastructure and systems to help them meet the stringent service level agreements (SLAs) they have in place with their customers.

“We value every customer relationship and are committed to delivering the support they need, unique to their individual businesses,” said Gary Weiss, executive vice president, global operations, with Choice Logistics. “The growth and momentum of our clients with Choice demonstrates the desire for specialized solutions to succeed. Choice continues to anticipate clients’ future demands and develop our focused service offerings and processes to meet them.”

Akibia, which provides consulting, integration and support services to IT organizations around the world, has already reaped many benefits by partnering with Choice for the last 8 years. The consistent execution and superior on-time performance goals that Choice met for Akibia during this timeframe gave them the confidence they needed to award Choice with more strategic stocking locations (SSLs) to support a new, significant customer contract. With this new addition, Akibia will have parts stocked with Choice around the world.

“We rely on Choice to meet the daily intricacies of our mission critical operation,” commented Marylou Castello, director of global supply chain, for Akibia. “Choice provides an important contribution to our success in servicing our clients. They consistently meet and exceed our expectations with the innovative solutions that our growing company requires.”

NDI also supports data networking and telecommunications customers around the world. Like with Akibia, many of their installed base contracts have strict, two to four hour response time commitments. Choice is supporting NDI’s explosive growth into EMEA and APAC with its expansive network of 7 regional distribution centers (RDCs) and over 400 SSLs. NDI has added 13 new Choice SSLs to support its global installed base in the last 6 months.

“Choice has been an integral component of our growth initiatives for the past two years, and we’re anticipating even greater opportunities as they contribute to our expansion around the world,” commented Jim Griffin, senior vice president, service operations, for NDI.

Another provider that ensures its clients’ high-tech equipment is up and running around the clock with its 3rd party service offerings is CTDI. In addition to the stringent timeframes that CTDI also adheres to, some of their SLAs necessitate very distinct stocking requirements for over-sized and remote location stocking. Choice began addressing these specific needs for CTDI throughout the U.S. and now stocks parts in 126 SSLs.

“Our partnership with Choice is on the fast track: we’re supporting more and more customer contracts with quite unique needs and service levels that Choice and CTDI have jointly supported,” commented Duane Knecht, vice president, sales & marketing, CTDI. “We look forward to a successful relationship for both parties,” Knecht added.
