Droplet shaped trailers increase fuel efficiency with up to 12 percent

TNT Express has ordered another five fuel-saving Cheetah Fastbacks trailers from Cartwright Group, in addition to the two bought in 2010. Tests by TNT Express over the recent months showed that the aerodynamic design of the Fastbacks helps cut fuel costs by up to 12 percent. The new trailers will mainly be used between Arnhem and Switzerland as well as on the route Vienna-Milan-Northampton.
