Night works along Main North Road

Motorists are advised asphalt works to improve ride quality on Main North Road, Elizabeth East, will begin this Sunday 26 September.
The night works will be carried out on the city bound carriageway between Midway Road and Shandon Road, from 7.00 pm to 6.00 am.
The works will commence this Sunday, 26 September and are expected to be complete by mid October 2010, weather permitting.
The Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure (DTEI) advises that during construction hours, traffic will be diverted to the opposite side of the road and a 25km/h speed restriction will be in place.
Variable message signs will be placed in the area to advise motorists of these road works.
