Logistics Service Provider DSV Air & Sea is continuing expansion with the global implementation of ediEnterprise software developed by CargoWise
DSV Air & Sea Division recently added 450 users in its German offices, bringing its total number of ediEnterprise licenses to over 3,500 spread across 196 branches in 31 countries. The company plans to continue to roll out the software across the DSV Air & Sea global network. Upon completion of the roll out DSV Air & Sea will have its entire global network of 60 countries operating on CargoWise’s ediEnterprise platform.
Jorgen Moller, CEO and President of DSV Air & Sea said: “The power of the ediEnterprise system has relatively quickly made an impact on our productivity, data reliability and management efficiency.
The software gives DSV Air & Sea a much improved visibility and the reporting management tools available in ediEnterprise has provided DSV Air & Sea with better, faster and more streamlined data quality, which has improved our KPI data.
Richard White, CEO of CargoWise, commented: “The scale and size of the DSV global rollout demonstrates the sophistication, scalability and power of our product. No other system can offer all the capabilities we provide, run on a single global database and operate 24/7 across all offices. This rollout demonstrates the huge gains in productivity, quality, manageability and visibility experienced when customers switch to CargoWise, and is the foremost reason we are seeing a jump in new sales.
DSV’s project also demonstrates that CargoWise can operate seamlessly on a global scale, service a massive user count, yet still provide their smaller offices and other SME’s capability at a very reasonable price.
